Supplies
- Glow sticks (preferably 6″ bracelet-style with connectors)
- Black or brown construction paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Twine, yarn, or rubber bands
- Optional: stickers, washi tape, glitter glue for decoration
Directions
- Activate the Glow Stick Bend and shake the glow stick until it glows. Attach the connector if needed.
- Create the Broom Bristles Cut a strip of construction paper about 4″ x 6″. Fringe one long edge with scissors, leaving about 1″ uncut at the top.
- Wrap the Bristles Around the Glow Stick Roll the fringed paper around one end of the glow stick (the “handle”), keeping the uncut edge aligned with the stick.
- Secure the Broom Head Tie twine, yarn, or a rubber band around the base of the bristles to hold them in place. Adjust for snugness.
- Decorate (Optional) Add stickers, glitter glue, or washi tape to personalize your broomstick.
- Display or Play Use them as glowing centerpieces, party favors, or props for imaginative witchy adventures!
