  • Creates a cozy, homemade breakfast experience that encourages conversation and togetherness.

5. Customizable for Different Tastes

  • Add nuts, chocolate chips, or fruit for variety.
  • Make it savory with a side of eggs and bacon or extra sweet with honey and cinnamon sugar.

6. Great for Special Occasions

  2. Place a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp butter and let it melt, coating the pan evenly.

  5. Transfer the French toast to a plate and top with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Tips & Variations:
  • For extra flavor: Add ½ tsp nutmeg or a splash of orange zest to the batter.
  • For stuffed French toast: Spread cream cheese or Nutella between two slices before dipping.
  • For a crunchy texture: Coat the dipped bread in crushed cornflakes before frying.
  • For a dairy-free version: Use oat milk or coconut milk instead of regular milk.
